But what does mindfulness mean? And how can we practice it?

We can translate the word Mindfulness with awareness, with attention to the present moment. It means developing awareness of what happens inside us, of our feelings, in order to understand and handle them and being able to use them in our favor.

Luise Hay said that “the only thing that always accompanies us is thought, but thought can be changed”.

Mindfulness is an instrument to be able to acquire ever greater awareness, let the sensations we experience and that emerge take their course, learn to recognize them and change our thinking so as not to be overwhelmed by the sensations but to be able to manage them better.
